My recent trip to southern California was not only refreshing but beautiful as well.  I always did enjoy the amazing weather of the Pacific Coast...there is always a fresh breeze and lots of sunshine.  My son and I had an amazing time attending a beautiful garden wedding, driving down Highway 101 to Oceanside and re-visiting many places that I used to frequent so many years ago.  The trip brought back so many amazing memories but most of all I love and miss living so close to the pacific ocean. 

The ocean always has and always will takes me away from everyday life and its stresses.  Something so spiritual about the sound of the waves crashing against the sand...something totally mesmerizing about the huge ball of orange sun as it quickly slips out of sight just over the water at sunset.  Oh how I love the ocean with all its sounds, smells and natural beauty! 

The people in California are unique and friendly as there is a tapestry of just about every nationality there...truly the colors of a beautiful tapestry of welcoming colors...  I hope to make it back there again very soon but my next trip would have to be Oregon...my absolute favorite place to be... I will save that for my next blog...
